Top Snacks & Drinks at Disney in October
One of our favorite parts of any Disney trip—especially an October visit—is the food. Cooler weather (by Florida standards), seasonal offerings, and lighter crowds make it the perfect time to slow down and actually enjoy snacks and drinks around the parks. On our most recent fall trip, we made it a point to be a little more intentional with our snack credits, adult beverages, and quick-service meals—and it paid off.
Below is a park-by-park breakdown of our favorite snacks and drinks, plus a few strategy tips we picked up along the way.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Andy’s Lunchbox – Toy Story Land
This spot continues to punch above its weight for both value and flavor.
- Loaded Totchos – Crispy tater tots piled high with chili, cheese, and all the good stuff. These are easily shareable and feel more like a meal than a snack.
- Draft Angry Orchard – A solid adult beverage option that feels like a great use of a snack credit when available.
Why it’s a good value:
The Totchos are filling enough to split, and draft cider options are often priced high if paying out of pocket—making them a smart use of credits.
Magic Kingdom
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies (Tomorrowland)
- Hot Fudge Sundae – Simple, classic, and surprisingly satisfying after a long afternoon in the park.
Crystal Palace
- Angry Orchard (16oz Can) – One of the better adult beverage values in Magic Kingdom, especially given the larger can size.
Why it’s a good value:
Magic Kingdom doesn’t have as many alcohol options as other parks, so when you find a decent-sized adult beverage included with a meal or credit, it’s worth noting.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Park Cart Treats
- Ice Cream Sandwich – A low-key but clutch snack, especially when the kids need a quick cool-down.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ (Disney Springs)
- Blue Lemonade (Kids)
- Strawberry Lemonade Moonshine (Adult)
We actually finished Animal Kingdom earlier than planned and headed over to Disney Springs, which gave us the chance to enjoy Homecomin’ without feeling rushed.
Why it’s a good value:
The moonshine drinks at Homecomin’ are flavorful, generously poured, and would be pricey out of pocket—making them feel like a win when included with a meal.
EPCOT
Connections Eatery
- Draft Angry Orchard – Another solid cider option that feels very on-theme for a fall EPCOT day.
- Dark Chocolate Shake – Rich, shareable, and a great non-alcoholic treat to balance out the day.
Why it’s a good value:
Connections Eatery offers large portions, and pairing a quick-service meal with an included alcoholic beverage really stretches the value of the dining plan.
All-Star Music Resort
Intermission Food Court
One of the underrated perks of staying at All-Star Music is the flexibility of the food court.
- We sometimes skipped using snack credits in the parks because they can be redeemed at the resort food court instead.
- Same goes for quick-service meals—they’re easy to use here, especially on arrival or rest days.
- Don’t forget: alcoholic drinks can be included with quick-service meals, which makes resort dining feel like a better value than many people expect.
Dining Plan Strategy Tips We Learned
- Not every snack credit has to be used in the parks—resort food courts are fair game and often less hectic.
- Some of the best values come from adult beverages, especially drafts or specialty drinks.
- Quick-service meals with included alcohol can sometimes beat table service in overall value, depending on where you eat.
We’re just scratching the surface here. There’s a lot more to say about sit-down restaurants, seasonal fall menus, and which dining reservations were actually worth it (and which weren’t). We’ll be breaking all of that down in upcoming posts—so stay tuned.
If you’re planning a fall Disney trip, October really is a sweet spot for food, drinks, and overall vibes—and with a little strategy, you can get a lot of value out of every bite and sip. 🍂🍦🍎
